Prosorbents™ Fine fiber pads and rolls are constructed from melt blowing a polypropylene cover stock of 1 oz. per square yard, material. We create a dense smooth finish by blowing a fiber less than 5 microns at slower speeds to give a low-linting and a high tensile strength product.

After we have made the cover stock, we then blow a high capacity melt blown polypropylene fiber, and sonic weld the cover stock to the top and bottom of the melt blown high capacity fiber material, leaving a polished quilted appearance and an in-credibly absorbent and strong product.

Prosorbents™ technology is a unique process that is used in our Technical and Medical Grade products. This process of producing long fine fibers, is used in our absorbent products creating a highly absorbent and strong fine fiber material.

The longer fiber length gives our pads higher tensile strength, more durability, and greater loft allowing greater absorbency than other standard melt blown pads. Blue Fine Fiber sorbent pads and rolls are a unique product that allows for high visibility to track and segregate. Blue is also a color indicator for environmental optics. When we see ‘Blue’ , most of us relate this to “clean blue water”, and this product is used especially in spill clean up off water as it can calm some concerns about the spill.
